A nice cookie policy.

This is Ahmed Mowgoud’s portfolio. It sets no cookies of its own. The one thing it remembers is your cookie choice, kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, so it is never sent anywhere.

Analytics cookies

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics counts visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are and how they arrived. Google sets two cookies for this: _ga, which tells one visitor from another, and _ga_X2CZXV3RYV, which keeps track of a visit. Both last two years. Nothing is set until you choose “Allow analytics”, and there are no advertising cookies.

Your choice

Switching analytics off also asks your browser to remove Google’s cookies for this site. You can come back to this page and change your mind at any time; the banner asks again after a year.

Other services

Fonts load from Adobe Fonts, the site is hosted on Vercel, and the CV and social links lead to other services. Each may see the technical details of a request, such as your IP address, in order to serve it. None of them is used by this website to set cookies. The privacy page covers the rest.
